The Crime Stoppers Volunteer is an integral part of the program. Central Alberta Crime Stoppers is looking for people to commit to a few hours per month to promote crime prevention in their community.
Volunteers oversee the ongoing operations of the association, establishing rewards, raising funds, and heightening awareness of Crime Stoppers programs throughout Central Alberta.
How much time is required?
Our volunteer opportunities take place all year round. We offer both short and long-term volunteer positions depending on what you can offer us.
The Board of Directors generally meets once a month for a few hours and also attends special events to distribute promotional items, presentations, and community events. Volunteers determine the amount of time and type of events to which they are able to commit.
What qualifications do I need?
You must be eighteen years or older to apply and you will be subject to a criminal record check. Board members cannot be active in law enforcement.
What can you expect?
As part of the Central Alberta Crime Stoppers volunteer team you can take pride in helping the Crime Stoppers program make a difference in your community.
